This song just about gave me a headache, but was fun nonetheless--I had no idea how complex it was until I started finding all the chords. It's pretty amazing how the song morphs, so that by the end, you're singing in a different key, and you have no idea how you got there...kinda cool how that works with the lyrics.

I think you'll find this song to be pretty amazing if you're as interested as I am in the song structures of The Soft Bulletin. Not only are the Flaming Lips at the vanguard of sonic exploration, they are also at the vanguard of pop songwriting. Nothing this complex and yet commercially accessible has been created since Brian Wilson's Pet Sounds album was released in the '60s. Follow the chord progression of "Suddenly Everything Has Changed" on a guitar or piano, and you'll find how suddenly all the chords have changed... :)
